Welcome to Chhart.app ("we," "our," or "us"). By accessing or using our website, Chhart.app (the "Site"), and our Model Context Protocol server ("Chhart MCP"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Services.

1. Description of Services

Chhart.app provides a flowchart and diagram creation platform that allows users to generate, edit, and share visualizations. We also provide "Chhart MCP," a Model Context Protocol server that allows authorized AI agents and clients to interact with our diagramming tools programmatically.

2. Access and Use

You are responsible for your use of the Services and for any content you provide, including compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations. You may use the Services only for lawful purposes.

3. User Content and Intellectual Property

3.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of the text, data, and specifications you input into Chhart.app or transmit via Chhart MCP ("User Content").

  • chhart.app: Operates locally in your browser; we do not claim ownership of your data or store it.
  • hub.chhart.app: If you subscribe to updates, we collect your email address for communication purposes only.

3.2 Generated Content

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, you own the diagrams and charts generated by the Service based on your User Content.

4. Availability and Reliability

We strive to ensure the Service is available and reliable, but we do not guarantee that:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
  • The results generated will be accurate for every possible input (you are responsible for verifying your charts).

Note on AI: Chhart.app merely provides the tools to generate diagrams deterministically. If you use the Chhart MCP with a third-party AI service, that interaction is subject to the third party's terms and privacy policy.

5. Chhart MCP Usage

If you use the Chhart MCP:

  • You agree to use it only in accordance with the Model Context Protocol specifications and our documentation.
  • You are responsible for any actions taken by AI agents configured by you to use our MCP server.
  • We reserve the right to rate-limit or suspend access to the MCP server to prevent abuse or service degradation.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Use the Services for any illegal purpose.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Services.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Services or related systems.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Chhart.app shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of any material changes. Your continued use of the Services following the posting of changes constitutes your acceptance of such changes.
