Chhart.app ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Chhart.app website and the Chhart Model Context Protocol server (collectively, the "Service").   • Chhart.app: We do not collect personally identifiable information (PII) when you use the diagramming tool.
  • Hub.chhart.app: If you choose to subscribe to updates on hub.chhart.app, we will collect your email address solely for the purpose of sending you the newsletter or updates you opted into.

1.2 User Content

The diagrams and data you create are stored locally in your browser's LocalStorage. We do not store your diagrams on our servers.

1.3 Usage Data

We use Google Analytics to understand how our Service is used. This service collects data such as your computer's Internet Protocol address (IP address, often anonymized), browser type, browser version, the pages of our Service that you visit, the time and date of your visit, and other diagnostic data. This data is used solely for analytics and improving the Service.

Important:

  • Chhart.app Generation: Chhart.app does not use AI to generate diagrams; the generation process is deterministic based on your input.
  • MCP & Third-Party AI: If you access Chhart services via the Model Context Protocol (MCP) using a third-party AI client (e.g., an LLM agent), that third-party service may process your data according to its own privacy policy. Chhart does not collect or see any information regarding the charts generated through these third-party interactions.

We may disclose your Personal Data in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to:

  • To comply with a legal obligation
  • To protect and defend the rights or property of Chhart.app
  • To prevent or investigate possible wrongdoing in connection with the Service
